Beyond the always-popular fast-food chains available throughout the terminal, we also have plenty of local or unexpected options where you can find a great meal for the whole family.

Before Security
Globe@YVR
For a refined meal in a beautiful setting, head to Globe@YVR, located inside Fairmont Vancouver Airport Hotel. Kids aged five and under eat free when ordering off the kids' menu and dining with an adult who orders a regular entree. Those under 12 can choose to either order from the children's menu (at regular price) or get a half portion from the regular menu for half price.
White Spot
A classic B.C. spot to enjoy a meal together. Visit White Spot's spacious sit-down restaurant near the Domestic Food Hall and order a Legendary Burger or opt for one of their airport-exclusive dishes, like the Neapolitan-style pizzas. Kids' meals include a main, side, drink, dessert, and of course, their signature gold chocolate coin!
Pajo's Fish & Chips
Voted the best fish & chips in Richmond 12 years running. Visit Pajo's in the International Food Hall to enjoy 100% Ocean Wise fish and bottomless fries plus tacos, hot dogs, and more from this beloved family-owned spot.
After Security
Hangar 49 (Gate B12)
Opened in late 2025, Hangar 49 is a full-service restaurant serving elevated comfort food with great views of the airfield. Kids can choose from pasta (tomato or butter sauce), pizza, or chicken fingers with fries, served with pop, milk, or juice.
Vino Volo (Gate B17, E83)
You might not expect to find a kid-friendly experience at a wine bar, but Vino Volo's two locations at YVR are happy to welcome family diners. Their Kid-Approved Favourites menu includes meatballs, tomato soup, and cheese pizza. And parents can enjoy an elevated tasting experience featuring local and international wines, small plates, and entrées.
Plaza Premium Lounge (Gate B17, C29, D67, E88)
Plaza Premium Lounge's four locations at YVR are open to all passengers, no membership required, regardless of airline or ticket type – and also, regardless of age! Kids under two can enter free, and those under 11 get 30% off their entrance fee. Their buffet style meals are a great option for picky eaters, who can choose what they want to eat and go back for seconds of favourite dishes.
Triple O's (Gate B14)
Craving burgers, fresh-cut fries, and hand-scooped milkshakes? Make a stop at White Spot's quick service cousin, Triple O's. Kids can choose from their Dippin' Chicken Tenders, Grilled Cheese, or Burger, all served with a kids-size drink, signature Kennebec fries, and a chocolate chunk cookie.
