A taste of Britain lands at YVR

With Pret A Manger arriving at YVR, a little taste of Britain is making itself right at home in the terminal. The beloved British brand brings a new food and beverage option to the airport, along with a familiar name for many travellers.

This June, Pret A Manger opened in YVR’s International Departures Food Court near Gate D71, marking the first standalone Pret A Manger in B.C. and the first in a Canadian airport. It was followed by a second location in YVR’s Domestic Terminal in September. The additions reflect YVR’s ongoing commitment to expanding food and beverage offerings, convenience, and service for every traveller.

Known for its freshly prepared food and quick service, Pret has built a strong international following and is a natural fit for travellers. Open 24 hours a day, the two locations are designed to match the pace of airport life, whether someone needs breakfast before an early flight, a quick lunch during work, or a snack on the go. From sandwiches and wraps to salads, baked goods, organic coffee, and a wide range of vegetarian and vegan options, Pret offers something accessible for just about everyone.

The openings are also part of Pret’s broader Canadian airport expansion, with four new locations planned across YVR and Toronto Pearson International through 2026, including a third location at YVR. That growth reflects strong demand for fresh, highquality, and convenient food options in airport settings. In a fast-moving airport environment, its arrival adds something fresh, recognizable, and a little special for both travellers and airport staff.

Pret’s debut at YVR is a welcome addition for the approximately 27 million passengers passing through the airport in 2026, signalling an exciting expansion of choice across the terminal and a warm welcome for a globally loved brand.
