Run errands on the fly at YVR's Airport Services Plaza

You already know that a trip through Vancouver International Airport means enjoying awe-inspiring works by Indigenous artists, great local restaurants, peaceful water features, and sometimes even live piano music. But did you know that YVR is also a convenient place to get those last few things crossed off your to-do list?

Tucked away on Level 1 of our Domestic Terminal, the Airport Services Plaza is the place to go for errands, medical and dental assistance, and more for staff, passengers, and residents of Sea Island.

To find the plaza, take the escalator down two floors from the Domestic departures area (near the Air Canada check-in desks) or one floor down from the baggage carousels.

Airport Fabricare Cleaners

Get your clothes dry cleaned, mended, or altered without leaving the airport.

Going on a round trip from YVR? Drop your dry cleaning off when you fly out and pick it up fresh, pressed, and ready to wear on your way back. Turnaround time for cleaning services is generally three to four business days.

For Airport Authority staff, the Airport Fabricare Cleaners team offers pickup and drop-off service from the LINK offices three days a week.

Need to buy stamps or mail a package before you fly out? Want to return an Amazon order or buy packing supplies on your lunch break? Located inside the 7-Eleven in the Airport Services Plaza, this full service post office has you covered.

The outlet also offers address changes and mail forwarding services, passport application forms, a selection of commemorative coins and stamps and Moneygram orders that allow you to send money worldwide in a matter of minutes.

Not just a pharmacy, the Pharmasave at YVR's Airport Services Plaza has everything you need for health, beauty, and more. As you would expect, there are over-the-counter medicines, personal hygiene products and travel-sized toiletries, but there are also plentiful cosmetics, gifts, toys, diapers, formula, and even Papyrus greeting cards.

The friendly pharmacists can help you fill a prescription, get your flu shot (call in advance to book), do a medication review, consult on vaccines, or even get you a prescription for compression stockings.

Looking for something they don’t have on hand? Just ask—they’re able to order in a wide range of items beyond existing stock.

A smoother journey ahead: Security screening equipment upgrade in YVR’s domestic terminal

No more juggling laptops and liquids for Domestic travellers.

At YVR, we’re always looking for ways to make the journey through the airport smoother, faster, and more intuitive. That’s why we’re partnering with the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) to modernize our screening checkpoints with new CATSA Plus Computed Tomography (CT) X-ray equipment.

This equipment upgrade, now complete at two of our Domestic security checkpoints, allows travellers to move through screening without removing liquids, aerosols, gels, or large electronics from their carry-on bags.

The new CT technology enhances both safety and efficiency, helping more passengers move seamlessly through screening while continuing to enjoy YVR’s signature mix of local art and West Coast storytelling.

As the first airport in Canada to adopt the new CATSA Plus equipment in September 2024, YVR is helping set a new standard for airport security.

Continuing this momentum, YVR will extend this technology to every checkpoint across the terminal in 2026, including International and U.S. departure checkpoints.

This upgrade reflects YVR’s ongoing commitment to innovation and growth, ensuring that every journey through our airport is not only secure but also welcoming, effortless, and uniquely reflective of our community.
