One million masks for British Columbians

Wearing a mask has become part of our daily routines. Whether we’re heading to work, stocking up on groceries or travelling for essential purposes, we find ourselves reaching for a face mask the same we do our coat and shoes. To help make this reach easier for British Columbians, we’ve partnered with Deloitte alongside the United Way and a number of B.C. organizations.

Together, we’re providing face masks to people who need one—or one million.

That’s right. One million face masks are making their way across B.C. and will be available to anybody who needs one, from the Lower Mainland to the East Kootenay Region, from the Sunshine Coast to Nanaimo, and from the Okanagan to Williams Lake and beyond.

At YVR, we are committed to giving back to our community and are proud to be part of the One Million Mask initiative. Learn more about our community investment program here.

Masks are available at United Way locations throughout the province. If you find yourself in need, please don’t hesitate to pick one up. Visit uwlm.ca/onemillionmasks to find a location near you.
